Although she came with an unusual profile, Maryam was selected to become one of the first scholarship recipients due to her sincere commitment to the community, her social intelligence, and her deep life experiences. During her time at the Arab Open University, Maryam achieved outstanding results and maintained active participation as a volunteer within her community.

Graduating with a degree in Primary Education, Maryam will not move too far from the classroom as she will be teaching primary school students in Ghor Al Mazra’a to pass on the gift of education and give her students a chance for a brighter future.
